Hello there!! I have something exciting to share! It’s been a while since I’ve done a Beauty Blabber entry, so I have decided to share with you the recipe I use to create an organic facial mask! I absolutely love this mask….
I had found the recipe on the internet a while back and I decided to try it out one night with my sister. Ever since we make the oatmeal mask about once every week!
It’s great because each indignant helps to improve your skin in a different way! It’s an organic and very economical beauty treatment! Let’s get started..
Your Indigents Depending on How Much You Would Like to Make: This amount will make enough for 3-4 faces :)
7 parts oatmeal
4 parts flower
4 parts milk
2 parts lemon juice (it does not have to be fresh squeezed)
1 part baking soda
3 parts honey
When you have stirred the mixture fairly well, spread a generous amount of the mixture on your face with clean hands. The mask with be a bit “clumpy”, so be careful when applying it. Leave the mask on for 30 minutes. After the half an hour passes, the mask should have dried up. Lightly dab some water on your dried up mask, to moisten the mixture slightly. Next, scrub the mask on your face for a minute or so, and then wash off with warm water.
*TiP: Rub an ice cube on your face to close pores after washing off facial mask (optional).
I hope you enjoyed this simple DIY mask!
THE EXACT WORDS OF MY ENGLISH TEACHER.
Hello everyone! Another stormy work week is coming to an end, and honestly this weather has really been depressing me. My tan is completely lost and I feel as if the summer has come and passed before my eyes!
I am still adjusting to working with The Lawyer at the office, but the situation is all under control. I am coming to understand more terms and cases as time goes by. There are a few things I don’t really agree with when it comes to my future occupation. I feel as if my moral ethics are being challenged when I hear things like, “We are defending the one that brought the 20 kilograms of heroine into the country”. Of course, after I am told something like that, The Lawyer explains that we need to do this, not because the person will go free (because the person won’t), but because it is a “typical process” to make sure the trail is fair…. and because everyone needs to be defended and blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. Even though I understood and eventually accepted what he was trying to tell me, I felt very uneasy about defending someone who traffic’s drugs. People tell me that when I am working I need to be like a machine. They say that it is just my career and not who I really am. I don’t agree with this though! If one chooses an occupation, doesn’t that reflect upon the type of character one has? Of course there are cases of exception because of economic need, but those are called “jobs” not “careers”!
Next topic. I should currently be getting ready to go out with the girls, but I like sitting down and writing what I have been thinking about. What has amazed me the past few days is a young girl that I have met. Her name, Cynthia. She is the new roommate of a close friend of mine. On any normal occasion, I would not be talking about the type of impression a female left me. This young lady is currently a freshman in our university- she has not the slightest ounce of provocative on her body. She is a tad bit shorter than average hight, with a pretty curvaceous body- which she doesn’t show off ever, because she dresses extremely “appropriate” (even when the sun is scorching outdoors). She is not a tomboy, she is very very sweet, with a soft yet high-pitched voice. She is pretty prude. To get to my point though ladies and gentlemen: I am not making fun of little miss Cynthia! Actually, I would like you to go back, and re-read the paragraph with an “optimistic” mood on the phrases. Cynthia is currently my new role model! She speaks with beautiful vocabulary, which in English I feel is much easier for one to achieve, rather than in Greek. In Greek, we have 50 different words to substitute the word… “rock” for example! Anyway, she always manages to use just the perfect phrase for anything she might be trying to say. I find that most ladies these days, are extremely provocative- and use their external looks to get the attention they want. I am not a Saint, but I do like to take examples from girls like Cynthia, who give most of their effort to things other than external looks. I was explaining to the rest of the girls, that women like Cynthia in my opinion have much more depth and knowledge to offer the world. I think that when one uses one’s brain capability to the extent of even average, one can surely attract attention with the marvelous thoughts that she/he would say.
I am off to get ready now, because even though I am a firm believe in inner beauty- I like to spend an hour on just my hair, and time is running out! BYE :)
I’ve been thinking about dying my hair…
